The 2024 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Here’s what you need to know to get ready to vote:

To register to vote in Pennsylvania, you must be a citizen of the United States for at least a month before the next election, be a resident of Pennsylvania for at least 30 days before the next election, and be at least 18 years of age on or before the day of the next election.

You can register to vote online, by mail, or at a number of government agencies, including Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Photo License and Driver’s License Centers. If you are already registered to vote, you do not have to register again unless you need to change your name, address, or political party.

The last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania is October 21, 2024.

The deadline to request a mail-in or absentee ballot is October 29, 2024. It is suggested to request your mail ballot by October 21, 2024. Mail ballots must be returned to the county by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
